For the past week or so I've been having the strangest dreams. They haven't been particularly scary, just unnverving; what happens in them isn't so bad, it's moreso a feeling; From being chased by Dr. Robotnik (Partly due to

putting Sonic in my head) to being shouted at by the Scottish enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Lots in between. Here's the thing, I don't dream usually. Or at least, I never remember dreams. These guys are vivid, though. I still vaguely remember certain characters from my first Sonic dream. In thinking about changes that could have caused this, I realised today that I've been concentrating my attention on a certain book;
OthersOthers happens to be the best book I've read in a
long time. Written by James Herbert, this is... a thriller I suppose, thriller with a message. I refuse to call it either horror or supernatural due to the very
point of the book, though sometimes I will say, it seems to be heading in that direction (Before you reach the heights of Knowing).
I just finished it today, it was fantastic and lucid and I need to know more.
I blame the book on these strange dreams, however. Nothing I've dreamt of have been directly related to it, mind; but a large portion of the book seems to be dreams.. that and.. well, who knows, maybe my imagination doesn't want to stop with this book.
I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good read. Might I also say it's possibly the first time I've ever loved the main character (whose point of view it is we're hearing).
Now, my only worry is I've built up such a good book
too much!
Ah well, I'm sure Nick Dismas' journey can hold up under scrutiny; God knows he did.
Oh. And I changed my picture

Yeah.
